We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Middle East LLC Doha, Qatar for a : Commissioning Supervisor Instrument This is an opportunity for you to implement your knowledge and skills as E&I Commissioning Supervisor Your main duties will be to: *Process control and measurement principles; Installation and testing of pneumatic and electronic protective systems; *Installation and testing of pneumatic and electronic control and/or monitoring systems including PLC and DCS based systems; *Installation and testing of fire and gas detection and protection systems; *Installation and testing of instrument air distribution systems; *Requirements for installation and testing of electronic instruments in hazardous areas; *Calibration and testing of equipment and systems; *Installation standards and codes of practice; *Environmental aspects of oil and gas design; *Safety aspects of design (e.g. HAZOP and risk analysis techniques); *Quality assurance and control requirements of the installation and testing; *MV & LV switchgear, transformers, motors, cables and other electrical equipment for medium voltage and low voltage systems

Ideally, you will have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Instrument or other relevant degree. You must have a minimum of 10 years of experience ideally within the oil/gas industry. The E & I Commissioning Supervisor shall demonstrate his/her previous experience with OPERCOM / lCAPS and the candidate shall report directly to the Commissioning Superintendent. You must have a good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, an advance level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office. You will need excellent communication and presentation skills in both written and verbal English.
