Purpose of the Job The Business Investment Controller (BIC) contributes to the set-up of the Global Investment Policy. Main taks include to apply procedure and standardization while performing different analyses for GEODIS Group Business Control. GEODIS Group BIC is in regular contact with the members of the Comex, the LoB / Regions CFO's together with multiple subject matter experts. BC reports directly to Group Business Control Manager, who reports himself to Head of Group Business Control. Missions Application of the Global Investment Policy GEODIS Group Business Control is responsible to ensure that all the commitments, Business agreements, capex, lease, or expenses (over defined thresholds), are under control and validation of the GEODIS Investment Committee (GIC). The Business Controller contributes to the good execution and all diligence, linked to the application of the Global Investment Policy (financial analysis, risk analysis, including contact with subject matter experts and coordinators in LoB / Regions). Participation in the organization of the GICs. Global Investment Policy Processes Participation in developing and updating the Global Investment Policy (templates, dashboard…) Participation in the implementation of a follow-up / post-mortem analysis for the commitments approved in the GIC and to be followed in Business Reviews. Tools Participation in the creation and implementation of a digital tool for the Global Investment Policy. Be the key contact of the department for all IT interfaces (BO, Qliksense, Nextgen, Salesforce, Hyperlex, Costar and Iporta etc.). Miscellaneous All missions linked to the good functioning of the department.

- University Degree in Controlling or financial management or “Grande Ecole” - 5 years' experience in controlling or audit in an international Group - Rigor, well organized, works efficiently under tight deadlines - Business Analysis expertise - Can work independently as well as part of a team, strong interface with direct manager - Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to get things done via influencing and partnering - Good skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint - Fluent English - Good knowledge of GEODIS financial & operational IT systems such as Qliksense, Nextgen, BO… (for internal recruitment)
