Nexter, a KNDS company, expands its Internal Audit capacities and capabilities to support the establishment of a KNDS Group Audit function, which shall provide independent and objective assurance and advisory services to the whole group. As Internal Audit Team Lead, you are responsible for managing Nexter's internal audit activities, act as (an internal audit) bridgehead to KMW and KNDS, and report to the Head of KNDS Group Audit. Your tasks in this context comprise, among others, • overseeing, managing and performing internal audit engagements (i.e. planning, execution, reporting) in an international working environment, i.e. in close collaboration with the KMW audit team based in Germany, • supporting the annual KNDS audit planning process on Nexter level, • reporting to the Nexter CEO and board of directors annually and contributing to the annual reporting to the KNDS CEO and the KNDS Audit and Compliance Committee, • refining and improving internal audit methodology and processes at Nexter and KNDS group level.

• Profound expertise in o finance, accounting, or similar, and/or o manufacturing business(es) based on long-term contracts (e.g. plant construction, defense), and/or o (industrial / business) engineering, and/or o IT or data analytics, to strengthen the interdisciplinarity of the audit team. • Excellent communications skills (both verbally and in writing), and experience in working with top management. • Previous experience in Internal Audit (five years+). • Experience with ERP systems is a plus. • Willingness to travel (up to 1/3 of the time), also internationally. • French and English business fluent, German strongly desired.
