We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Biomarker Scientific Leaderto join our oncology group and lead multidisciplinary biomarker enabling strategy within drug discovery programs from inception through early clinical testing.  You will be responsible for providing the strategic leadership, scientific excellence, and cross-functional operational leadership to deliver high quality data packages supporting decision-making through preclinical and clinical phases. Biomarker concepts and data will inform proof of target hypothesis, mechanism of action, patient selection and clinical development path of novel therapeutics. Oncology is a major priority and constitutes a strategic focus for the Pierre Fabre Group. Currently, the oncology pipeline includes both, mature products that are already approved (encorafenib, binimetinib, neratinib), as well as early-stage programs in pre-clinical discovery or clinical development. The internal R&D pipeline, supplemented with future external opportunities, will be central in shaping the future orientation of Pierre Fabre Medical Care and in addressing patient’s needs.  Missions: ·         Within the multidisciplinary project team, you are responsible to design and integrate the translational biomarker plan into the program strategy and execution ·         In tight collaboration with the project manager you drive the implementation and execution of the preclinical and clinical biomarker enabling strategy with plan, timelines, deliverables, budget, risk assessment and mitigation strategies. You are co-responsible for internal and external resources, as well as for the generation and delivery of high-quality documentation for reviews and decision-making ·         For the preclinical validation of the biomarker plan and its execution within clinical studies you collaborate with internal scientific and clinical experts across several functional areas and manage external partners to meet quality and timelines regarding clinical sample processing and data reporting according to specifications ·         You are co-responsible with the project manager for internal and external resources, as well as for the generation and delivery of high-quality documentation for reviews and decision-making. You participate to CROs and testing vendors selection, define deliverables, quality, and success criteria. With the support of biostatisticians, you analyze cross-functional biomarker data and interpret results ·         You participate to CROs and testing vendors selection, define deliverables, quality, and KPI. You are pro-active and engaged in fostering external awareness on new trends, technologies, and opportunities ·         In collaboration with clinical and data management teams you participate to the elaboration of clinical documents, data management plan

High flexibility about the location of this position.  Qualifications and Experience: -              PhD or MD/PhD with post-doctoral experience in oncology / immuno-oncology and ideally 5 to 10 years of experience in drug discovery in one or several pharmaceutical industries / biotechs. -              Successful track record of leading science and execution of biomarker strategy within drug discovery projects, from target validation to clinical development -              Experience with technologies to identify and characterize biomarkers such as RNaseq, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry and omics analysis is a plus. Nous recherchons un Chef de Projet spécialisé en Biomarqueurs Oncologie pour diriger la stratégie multidisciplinaire d'activation des biomarqueurs au sein des programmes de découverte de médicaments, de l’identification de la cible jusqu'aux études cliniques.   Vous serez responsable de l'excellence scientifique et du leadership stratégique et opérationnel transverse pour fournir des données de haute qualité et aider à la prise de décision tout au long des phases précliniques et cliniques. Les concepts et les données des biomarqueurs éclaireront la preuve de l'hypothèse cible, du mécanisme d'action, de la sélection des patients et du développement clinique de nouvelles thérapies.
