Egis has been involved for 70 years in the design (conceptual and detailed) of nuclear plants for EDF, as well as nuclear installations for the CEA (research facilities) and for ORANO (uranium enrichment and spent fuel recycling facilities). Over the last decade, this expertise has been enhanced through our involvement into major projects paving the way for nuclear industrial renewal : research reactor on material ageing under irradiation Jules Horowitz, research reactor on fusion reaction ITER, latest generation of water-cooled reactors EPR, sodium-cooled fast breeder reactor ASTRID. Moreover, the merger with Galson Limited Sciences (in April 2021) allows the company to provide consultancy, research and engineering services for upstream studies into the back-end nuclear cycle,  specialized in radioactive waste management, disposal and decommissioning in the UK, France and abroad. You will work directly under the supervision of the Radioactive Waste Product Line Manager, and you will be based in France (Montreuil or Montpellier) with occasional travel to the UK (Bristol, Oakham UK or other Egis offices UK), and abroad. You will have a multi-faceted role that will allow you to cover different duties such as project management, business development and technical research. You will support the Radioactive Waste Product Line Manager on the following areas; Draft and manage bids; partnership and client engagement Support the commercial strategy for the development of the Radioactive Waste Product, in France, in the UK and abroad, relying on transversal synergies within the activity, the BU, and the group and the development of a team or network in France Support radioactive waste management consultancy projects, develop and provide technical and project management expertise  You may also take part on the integration process of GSL into the wider Egis group. The subject will be defined by the responsible according to the progress of the integration and the structuring of Egis UK Country Direction at the mobilization date.
