The Global Sales Director is part of the Geodis Global Account corporate team. This team is managed by a Group Executive Committee member. The GSD is a sales hunter who leads the acquisition and development of future Global Accounts he actively contributes to the growth dynamic of the Group. 1. Develop a list of identified Tier-1 Prospects, who present a high potential of global growth, but not yet responding to all the criteria qualifying Global Accounts Tier-1 and bring them to this status by expanding their regional coverage (France, Europe, Americas, Asia-Pacific), open new businesses in all activities GEODIS (Contract Logistics, Ocean / Air / Road / Multimodal transportation, e-commerce and distribution). 2. Build, update and drive an appropriate Strategic Plan for every account of the portfolio and coordinate the actions to success: business development, communication, business reviews, reporting. Propose and drive corresponding budgets. 3. Track key decision makers, build and expand a sprawling matrix of relationships focusing and mirroring the right corporate / regional / local leaders at customers with the appropriate GEODIS corporate / regional / local managers. In this perspective, build and animate cross-functional teams of business developers and account stakeholders multi-regional / multi-cultural. 4. Identify every potential new business and obtain RFQs, propose and lead the winning strategy to sign deals, lead & coordinate GEODIS proposals with stakeholders. 5. Ensure a transparent weekly / monthly reporting to management with using Salesforce CRM
