For their Portuguese operation which is facing fast growth (20 employees & subcontractors today and probably 40 employees in three years), they are recruiting their future:Portugal Branch Manager | oenological products and services M/FManagement of sales and production teamsPermanent contract, full time, based in Portugal, South of PortoThe Branch Manager serves as the key intermediary between the head office and the local operations of the subsidiary, ensuring smooth functioning across various domains, operations, logistics and sales. This role involves close collaboration with local employees, subcontractors, and agents, and requires a hands-on approach in managing client portfolios, overseeing operations, and ensuring quality control of products to ensure total customer satisfaction.Management & Commerce:-Hiring staff, Management of sales and production teams.-Organization and monitoring of commission plans.-Supervision of local operations (with company's employees or subcontractors).-Management of a client portfolio, both in Portugal and some export markets.-Promotion of sales of secondhand products in Portugal.Marketing:-Proactive development of the customer network.-Host VIP international customers in Portugal.-Support for sustainable development initiatives.-Promotion and lobbying in the Portuguese market.Products:-Quality control of finished products (standardized, reconditioned, etc.) and customer orders.-Search for new products according to needs.Production & Logistics:- Responsible for local production and its reporting-Management of warehouses and control those of our partners/suppliers.-Development of production and storage methods.-Track operational information and handling local issues.Back office:-Translation of documents into Portuguese (ERP, accounting, refinancing…)-Follow up on completed projects.-Administrative support to management and participation in strategic meetings Profile-M/F technical degree in wine or spirit production-Strong commercial, financial and legal knowledge-a minimum of 5 years' experience in a management position in a technical sector, ideally wine or spirit, either production of wine or technical production for the wine and spirit industry.-Understanding the oenological products and services, the technical know-how of the wood business, staves, wood chips, oak barrel is a plus .-Proficiency in management-Able to manage and bring people together-Able to prioritize and make decisions-Able to think strategically and resolve problems-Computer skills-Speak fluent Portuguese & English (French would be a plus) This job offer of Portugal Branch Manager M/F based in Portugal South of Porto matches your search and your profile?
