Mains Responsibilities :
Demand Forecast and S&OP process: (80%/90%)
Coordinate forecasting process for Latin America and French Overseas Territories, at a DFU level and co build short, mid-term and long-term demand plan with Sales & Marketing teams
and distributors based on statistical analysis (considering market trends, customers vision, expected exceptional, promo, guidelines issued from previous S&OP cycles)
Perform gap analysis versus budget, month M-1, previous year both in volume and value
Prepare Sales and Marketing forecasting meetings jointly with distributor including key assumptions and risks & opps
Animate forecasting meetings with BU Sales and Marketing teams + distributor
Collect information from Marketing on new products Phase In, discontinued products Phase Out process
Update short, mid and long-term Demand Plan in JDA and IBP according to forecasting meetings and S&OP+ discussions and decisions
Conduct historical data cleansing / explanations in JDA
Perform forecast accuracy analysis (MAD / BIAS), identify improvement action plan, implement and track
Review incoming promotions advise on availability and timing and propose forecast changes
Ensure the Supply feasibility of the forecast planning on short term horizon (in collaboration with the master planners)
Alert on overstock or low stock on short and mid-term at distributor
Challenge and propose optimized safety stock levels in collaboration with distributor
Participate in building state of the art S&OP supporting steps 1 (Drive The Growth) and 2 (Demand Planning) in a collaborative approach with distributors.
Continuous improvement / projects: (10%/20%)
- Be proactive and propose improvements of actual demand process
- Develop tools & reports, and support team in optimizing supply chain performance for the Business Unit
- Engage internal & external stakeholders on continuous improvement project (collaborative forecast, data sharing…)
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum level of education and professional experience needed:
Master’s degree in supply chain management or business school / Engineer
3 to 5 y experience in demand
Fluent in English - French
Specific knowledge (software, technical skills):
* Forecasting tool
* Supply Chain APICS certification is a plus
* Statistics tools performance understanding
* Knowledge about local market: distributors, products, channels, market insights
* Proficient in Pack office: Excel, Word, Power Point
* Experience with APS: JDA, BW, IBP
